【MAIN LINE】MADE IN JAPAN
This is Nigel Cabourn’s signature 5.6 oz BASIC T-SHIRT. Sizes 42/XS and 44/S have been added from the Spring/Summer 2024 collection, making it a unisex line.
■As before, the body is woven from 5.6 oz, No. 18 open-end single yarn (yarn formed by spinning at high speed inside a rotor using air pressure and centrifugal force).
Crafted from this sturdy, no-nonsense fabric with a tubular construction, it offers a rough-textured, relaxed feel—a fabric choice that’s quintessentially Nigel and never disappoints.
■One of the new changes is the neckline. While previous T-shirts featured a simple ribbed collar, this updated version uses a double-sided half-ribbed collar with a single alternating needle drop. It is less prone to stretching than ever before and offers improved durability.
The fit has also been redesigned to be more relaxed compared to previously released T-shirts.
The button on the chest pocket has also been changed from a wooden one to a metal button inspired by those used on vintage German military clothing from World War II.
■One of the details commonly seen in vintage pieces from the 1940s and 1950s, the shoulder area features a “freedom sleeve” design with a distinctive curved silhouette. The fit around the arms is extremely comfortable and stress-free.
