“EASTMAN LEATHER CLOTHING” is a British brand that meticulously reproduces vintage flight jackets from the 1939–1945 era, with a focus on American military clothing.
With a history spanning over 30 years, this brand is a reproduction manufacturer that can truly be called “authentic.” To source the exact same materials used back then, they commission every single component—down to the finest details—from the original parts manufacturers of that era, recreating the garments to the exact same specifications as the originals and bringing them back to life for the modern era.
While its core aesthetic is rooted in military style, its other label, “ELMC,” draws inspiration from the mid-20th-century motorcycle scene, offering a collection ranging from biker styles to sportswear.
■This is a reproduction of a 1960s U.S. Marine Corps T-shirt.
The bulldog printed on the shirt, “Sergeant Jiggs,” was the U.S. Marine Corps’ first mascot and is based on a bulldog that was actually enlisted as a Marine.
Furthermore, the print plate for this design was taken directly from the original vintage garment, and the printing method uses the same cracked rubber print technique as the original.
