Lot No. LK-026-BURGUNDY
Based on country boots originating in Scotland and Ireland, we’ve refined them with subtle details, design modifications, and upgraded materials and components to create a masterpiece suited for the modern era.
Commonly known as “wing tips” in the United States, this design is no longer limited to casual wear but has become a staple in business settings as well.
By using D-Width’s original last, we’ve also focused on achieving a clean, streamlined silhouette.
Please enjoy the uppers—carefully finished one pair at a time by skilled Japanese artisans—as well as the meticulous stitching along the edges.
■We lavishly use leather tanned using the Bacchetta method, a traditional technique passed down in the Tuscany region of Italy.
The Bacchetta method is a traditional tanning process that involves slowly infusing the leather with vegetable tannins over an extended period and repeatedly applying oil through a process called “fat-tanning.” However, because this method is time-consuming and labor-intensive—and the number of artisans carrying on the tradition has dwindled over time—the leather has become increasingly rare.
Leather tanned using the Baccetta method has a supple, soft texture and contains more oil than typical leather. It molds comfortably to your feet right from the start and feels lighter to wear than standard work boots.
■The soles feature the Italian-made 2055 sole and 2055 heel from the world-renowned manufacturer Vibram, offering exceptional grip, durability, and abrasion resistance.
■Boasting durability achieved through complex stitching using the Goodyear welt construction—one of the traditional methods for making leather shoes.
This construction, commonly found in vintage boots and high-end shoes, is characterized by a level of sturdiness that is unmatched by other methods.
Thanks to its intricate stitching and construction, the shoes’ perfectly balanced weight creates a pendulum-like motion when walking, providing excellent support.
One of the shoes’ greatest appeals is that they can be repaired—including sole replacement, full sole replacement, and heel replacement—allowing you to cherish them for a lifetime.
■They will be delivered in a special box.

Each piece of genuine leather is unique. You may notice minor scratches or wrinkles, but please enjoy these as part of the leather’s natural character. We look forward to your order with your understanding of these characteristics.
