This brand is committed to ensuring that everything—from the fabrics and stitching to even the smallest details—is crafted by fairly employed artisans in Japan.
As a tribute to the military, the Japanese flag—the “Hinomaru”—is reimagined as “PAPA MARU” and sewn onto most products in the collection as a trademark.
After watching the movie “DEVOTION” and seeing the F4U and F8F flown by pilot Jesse Brown, he felt compelled to create a beautiful USN khaki twill cap that could withstand the same kind of rough treatment.
To make it look as authentic as the one worn by Lieutenant Brown, this cap has been given a clean, minimalist finish with no unnecessary details.
The model is a genuine USN design, reminiscent of late-1940s aviator caps, featuring a deep crown and a wide, square brim measuring 8 cm.
