■This shoulder pouch bag is inspired by vintage European bags. With a simple, unlined design, its compact size allows you to carry only the essentials.
■The leather used is vegetable-tanned leather from Himeji, a region renowned for its leather production. Vegetable-tanned leather is produced using a method that relies solely on plant-based tannins for the tanning process.
It is characterized by a lustrous sheen that develops with use, a soft, supple feel, excellent dye absorption, and vibrant color.
Although this is a labor-intensive and time-consuming production method with low efficiency, it is a leather crafted using a process that maximizes the inherent qualities of the material.
Furthermore, it features a “vintage finish” achieved by first applying a traditional hand-dyeing technique known as “oka-zome,” followed by “kogashi” and oil treatments to create a well-worn look.
■The flap opens and closes with a twisted brass clasp.
■The “B.L.W.” stamp stands for “BAGGAGE LOAD WONDERLUST,” meaning “the desire to pack your bags and wander.”
■Comes with a dedicated drawstring pouch.
