The PEAT LABEL is a series featuring Chromexcel leather specially commissioned by Nigel Cabourn, named for the leather’s color, which evokes the image of peat.
From this PEAT LABEL collection, we are introducing a leather belt inspired by the design of early-model U.S. Army belts from the 1940s, which featured a reinforced patch.
■The leather used is the highest-grade Chromexcel leather from HORWEEN, a long-established American leather manufacturer.
Because it contains more oil than standard leather, it is characterized by its resistance to cracking and its softness. For this product, we have infused this Chromexcel leather with oil to the absolute limit, making it even more supple than standard Chromexcel. This allows you to enjoy its aging process more than ever before, resulting in a leather truly worthy of many years of cherished use.
The DARK BROWN color is inspired by peat, while the BROWN color is designed to resemble the hue of aged whiskey.
■ The tip is embossed with the Nigel Cabourn logo. The belt is 35mm wide. It’s a great accessory to accent your outfit.
