This brand is committed to ensuring that everything—from the fabrics and stitching to even the smallest details—is crafted in Japan by artisans employed under fair labor conditions.
As a tribute to the military, the Japanese flag—the “Hinomaru”—is reimagined as “PAPA MARU” and is sewn onto most products in the collection as a trademark.
This popular military cap from the Papa Nui brand recreates the silhouette of a 1951-model field cap from the Korean War era.
Meticulously crafted in Japan, this cap is made from a slightly lightweight cotton fabric and can be worn year-round.
The brand’s initials and a “Buzz Number” (a military aircraft’s serial number) are carefully sewn on using wool felt.
The brim is lined with canvas, just like vintage military caps, demonstrating Papa Nui’s attention to detail even in the hidden parts.
