Lot No. LK-014-TIMBER-PREORDER
PRE-ORDER FOR DELIVERY IN SEPTEMBER 2026
Based on 1940s U.S. Army Combat Boots, we’ve faithfully recreated distinctive details such as the toe cap and decorative eyelets, while updating various elements to create a pair that fits the modern era.
One of the highlights is the upper, meticulously crafted one pair at a time by skilled Japanese artisans, along with the delicate stitching along the edge.
Despite its sleek silhouette, the use of JOHN LOFGREN’s original E-width last ensures a comfortable fit even for those with high insteps.
The leather used is Chromexcel Leather (an aniline-finished oil-tanned leather, thickness: 2.0–2.3 mm) from HORWEEN, a long-established American leather manufacturer.
Chromexcel leather contains a high oil content, making it resistant to cracking even with extended wear; it is characterized by being both thick and supple.
The sole is made by the world-renowned manufacturer VIBRAM and offers exceptional durability. Furthermore, this product features a cork-infused all-sole and heel, enhancing its vintage aesthetic.
It uses American-made cork-infused 700 soles and 7335 heels.
Boasting exceptional durability thanks to the complex stitching of the Goodyear welt construction—one of the traditional methods for crafting leather shoes.
This construction method, commonly found in vintage boots and high-end shoes, is characterized by a level of sturdiness that is unmatched by other methods.
The complex stitching and structure provide just the right weight, creating a pendulum-like motion that supports your stride.
A key appeal is the ability to have repairs such as sole and heel replacements performed, allowing you to wear these shoes virtually indefinitely.
We will deliver them in a dedicated box.
