“EASTMAN LEATHER CLOTHING” is a British brand that meticulously reproduces vintage flight jackets from the 1939–1945 era, with a focus on American military clothing.
With a history spanning over 30 years, this reproduction manufacturer sources the exact same materials used back then. By commissioning every component down to the finest detail from the original parts manufacturers, they recreate each piece to the exact specifications of the era, bringing these “authentic” items back to life for the modern age.

While its core aesthetic is rooted in military style, its other label, “ELMC,” was launched as a collection inspired by the mid-20th-century motorcycle scene, offering everything from biker styles to sportswear .

■The G-1 is a model developed by the U.S. Navy Air Corps around the same time that the U.S. Army Air Corps was developing the A-2.
Broadly speaking, these jackets can be divided into two models: the 55J14, produced from 1948 to 1951, and the MIL-J-7823, which has been issued and used from 1951 to the present. ■The leather used is full-vegetable-tanned goatskin, recreated and perfected in collaboration with a tanner to achieve a natural, wrinkled texture rich in texture and depth.
Compared to the horsehide used in the A-2, this leather is softer and more comfortable to wear.Additionally, the back features action pleats to enhance mobility, which is another key factor contributing to this product’s comfort.
■The collar is made of shearling to provide warmth in cold climates. A chin strap is attached to the outside of the collar; when the collar is raised and the chin strap is fastened, the shearling lining protects your neck from the cold. The back of the collar also features a USN stencil.
■The lining is made of rayon, ensuring smooth movement of the sleeves.
■Features a TALON zipper.
