From Nigel Cabourn’s 2026 High Summer Collection comes a series inspired by vintage clothing worn by U.S. Navy sailors in the 1940s.
These T-shirts feature distinctive stencil prints designed based on the T-shirts worn by sailors of that era.
■The fabric is a 6oz cotton blend.
Made from open-end yarn, this tubular knit—a staple of Nigel Cabourn’s classic T-shirts—has been adjusted to a 6oz weight by altering the knit density. It is slightly thicker than the 5.6oz fabric used in Nigel Cabourn’s standard T-shirts.
■Features a single-fold binder neck, as seen on U.S. Navy undershirts. By tucking a strip of fabric into the neckline and folding it back on one side before sewing, this detail recreates the natural looseness and texture around the collar that develops with wear—a hallmark of vintage pieces.
■This T-shirt incorporates Nigel Cabourn’s signature military-inspired design with stencil prints placed at key points on the body.The OFF WHITE color features a dye-through print, while the NAVY color features a cracked rubber print.
■Made with a seamless, tube-knit construction, ensuring no seams touch the skin for a stress-free fit. The fabric has just the right thickness—it can be worn on its own for a light, airy feel in the summer and is sure to be a versatile layering piece under shirts and other tops.
