1950s–1960s STYLE OUTDOOR JACKET
This season’s GREAT LAKES lineup is inspired by a journey tracing the history of outdoor sports; the product name “Skykomish” refers to a river flowing through Washington State in the U.S.
This jacket is inspired by outdoor sports from the 1950s and 1960s, allowing you to enjoy three different styles—the jacket on its own, the vest on its own, or the jacket and vest combined—all in one garment. Both the vest and the jacket are padded for excellent warmth.
■The outer fabric is a plain-woven weather cloth, densely woven using neppy yarn and slub yarn.
“Weather cloth” technically refers to weatherproof fabric. It is a general term for lightweight, thin, and durable fabrics that withstand rain and wind and are convenient to carry.
The fabric’s surface has a rough texture, and its vintage-like appearance, with neps mixed in, is part of its charm.
■The filling is made of high-performance polyester fiber, which prevents the garment from becoming unnecessarily hot. The vertical stitching helps control the bulk of the filling while also serving as a design feature.
■This is a multifunctional “three-in-one” jacket; the jacket and vest can be attached or detached using the front zipper.
The jacket’s front opens and closes with snap buttons and a zipper, and it features a chest pocket as well as hand-warmer pockets on both sides.

The vest worn as an outer layer features a gun patch on the right shoulder, a gusseted box pocket on the left chest, and a double-layered, three-dimensional gusseted pocket on the hip.The vest is a short-length style without wool ribbing.
