Here are the NEW BASIC CHINO PANTS, a classic style from Nigel Cabourn.
We’ve updated this style by adjusting the color and slightly refining the silhouette, and adding suspenders buttons, so you can enjoy an even wider range of styling options.
■The fabric is the brand’s original chino cloth, woven from soft, lustrous extra-long staple cotton at a high density. It strikes a perfect balance between suppleness and firmness.
It has also undergone a cold mercerization process, followed by a finishing treatment to remove excess sheen. Furthermore, since the fabric was dyed in the bolt without singeing, it offers an exquisite balance of texture and sheen.
You may notice slight fuzziness in spots along the seams, but this is a testament to the fabric’s exceptionally high density.
The more you wear and wash these chinos, the more they develop a worn-in look, evolving into a rich, textured finish that will allow you to enjoy them for years to come.
■For the LIGHT BEIGE color, the fabric is dyed using a coal-derived dye known as “Slen.”This method offers higher colorfastness than standard dyeing and results in a much deeper, more saturated color, allowing you to enjoy the gradual fading and natural wear that come with age. The BEIGE color is the same as that used in previous models, while the GREEN color is achieved using a dyeing method that combines reactive dyes and sren dyes.
