OX’ED SILVER とは・・・特定の労働者や職人、芸術家たちが着用していたワークウェアとしてのスーツ、およびそれに合わせて着用されていたシャツ、カットソー等を研究・分析し現代に蘇らせたレーベルです。
今季はブラックスミス（鍛冶職人）、マスターメイソン（石工職人）、ファイヤーマン（消防士）、アーキテクト（建築家）、エンジニア（技術者）の5つの職種に焦点を当て製品に反映させたコレクションです。
本製品は、製品名のとおりブラックスミス（鍛冶職人）が着用していたパンツをベースにしたデザインです。
■素材は、ブランド・オリジナルで織り上げたツイード生地を使用しています。
ブラックスミス（鍛冶職人）が着用していたドニゴールツイードを現代に蘇らせました。ターゲットとしたオリジナルのファブリックは、文字通りアイルランドのドニゴール地方で生産されたホームスパン（家庭で原毛を手染めして紡ぎ、不揃いの毛糸を使って手織りした厚手の毛織物）で、太さや撚糸にムラがある糸をそのまま織り込んでいくためファブリック全体に味わいのあるネップが生じている事が特徴です。また、赤い粒のネップが混ざっていますがこれは落としネップと呼ばれるもので着用を繰り返すうちに次第に脱落していき、経年変化をお楽しみ頂けます。
■フロントはボタンフライ仕様で、片方のみのヒップポケットやシンチバック、サスペンダーボタンが特徴です。
■The buttons are luxuriously crafted from buffalo horn. Furthermore, the manufacturer has deliberately omitted part of the carving process to give the buttons a rugged, raw look—a true testament to their attention to detail.
■The back of the thighs is lined, so the pants slide on smoothly and provide a comfortable fit where you hardly notice the itchy texture of the wool.
■The hem is finished with an overlock stitch, so feel free to hem it to your preference—whether single, double, or otherwise—before wearing.
