From Nigel Cabourn’s 2026 High Summer Collection, cargo pants made from the brand’s original linen herringbone fabric are now available.
■The fabric is the brand’s original yarn-dyed linen herringbone twill. With meticulous attention to detail—varying the shades of the warp and weft threads to enhance the herringbone pattern and create a three-dimensional look—this fabric ensures comfort even during hot weather.
■The design is a fusion of pants used by the USMC (United States Marine Corps) and those used by the Royal Navy.
The angled cargo pockets—positioned diagonally to accommodate use in cramped ship cabins—are inspired by the Royal Navy’s pants, while the shape of those pockets and the design of the back pockets are modeled after USMC pants.
■The front features a button fly. Additionally, the waistband includes suspenders buttons, so we recommend styling this piece with suspenders.
