This season’s collection focuses on two professions—fishermen and ranch workers—and incorporates these themes into the designs.
As the name suggests, this product is based on a jacket traditionally worn by fishermen.

■The material is a brand-original moleskin fabric.
This moleskin fabric is dyed with persimmon tannin. Persimmon tannin dyeing is a traditional Japanese vegetable dyeing method. In addition to providing a rich texture and appearance, the natural tannins penetrate deeply into the fibers and set, creating an extremely durable coating that dramatically increases the fabric’s strength.
Furthermore, we’ve applied an iron-mordanting process—also known as “kure-zome”—to achieve a deep, complex dark brown with a grayish undertone.
Iron mordanting is a technique used in plant-based dyeing and woodworking; it’s a very labor-intensive method that involves reacting a solution containing iron (the mordant) with tannin-rich materials to develop and fix a deep color.

■Since moleskin fabric doesn’t pill much, it can be worn for three seasons.
■Although the design resembles a French work coverall, this jacket is packed with details despite its simple appearance—such as the triangular leather reinforcements on both ends of the pockets and the horn buttons, which were intentionally left unfinished to create a rugged look.
■The fit is slightly loose and roomy. Please check the actual measurements for details.
■ A vest and pants from the same series are also available.

Persimmon tannin has the characteristic of deepening in color with wear and over time.
This phenomenon occurs because the tannins in the material react and undergo various chemical changes; please take the following precautions:
・Please do not leave the item wet or exposed to rain or sweat.
・Be mindful of the ingredients in detergents. We recommend using a neutral detergent.
・Please avoid spot cleaning.
・It may react with moth repellents and desiccants.
・Avoid direct sunlight and store in a dark, well-ventilated place.
The above precautions address partial or sudden discoloration; however, discoloration itself cannot be completely prevented.
