From Nigel Cabourn’s 2025 High Summer Collection, a model featuring a wide-silhouette open-collar shirt design made from fabric with a Wabash stripe pattern created using the discharge printing technique has been released.
■The fabric used is Wabash-striped denim.
Wabash stripes are a distinctive pattern commonly found in workwear, featuring white dots or stripes arranged on indigo-dyed fabric. Rather than being printed, the pattern is created using a technique called “discharge printing,” in which dye is removed to make the design stand out, resulting in a unique texture and a rich, distinctive look.
