This season’s collection focuses on five professions—blacksmiths, master masons, firefighters, architects, and engineers—and incorporates their influences into the designs.
As the product name suggests, this item is based on the henley-neck T-shirt traditionally worn by blacksmiths.
■The fabric is a lightweight, 100% cotton sweatshirt fabric. The reverse side is not brushed but has a pile-like texture, offering a plush feel and exceptional comfort. Although it is a lightweight sweatshirt fabric, it is relatively thick for a henley-neck shirt.
■The cuffs are made of linen, a different material from the body, and feature an intricate construction with two distinct knitting patterns to ensure just the right amount of snugness.
■The buttons are made of animal bone, a meticulous detail chosen to match the product’s historical setting.
