Based on a 1930s sweatshirt, this design features subtle size adjustments for a modern fit.
With set-in sleeves, double-needle stitching, and longer ribbing, this sweatshirt exudes a vintage vibe thanks to the contrasting colors between the body and the ribbed sections.
The main design features the “Frontonac” logo, which is based on a 1920s letter themed around “motor culture.”
The unique message on the back—“EAT TO DUST: Don’t eat dust or mud!”—which was used in advertisements of the era and is characteristic of American hot rod culture, is rendered using airbrushing.
■The fabric is a medium-weight, brushed sweatshirt fabric with moderate thickness.
The fabric is plump and substantial, yet not too thick, so it maintains a clean silhouette even when layered.
Vintage sweatshirts are, of course, made with a tubular construction, but this inevitably leads to shrinkage vertically and stretching horizontally. To address this, this product features a side seam instead of a tubular construction.
■The front features a cracked rubber print, while the back is airbrushed.
■Since this is shown worn as an unwashed item, the length appears longer and the body and shoulder widths appear wider than they actually are. After washing, it will fit more snugly than shown in the photos, so please select your usual size.
