【MAIN LINE】MADE IN JAPAN
A basic 2-pack T-shirt set featuring different neckline designs and made from 6oz fabric is now available. This set includes two T-shirts: one with “taped seams” and one with a “binder neck.”
■The fabric is made from 6oz American cotton.
We adjusted the knit density of the tubular knit fabric—made from open-end yarn, the same body used in Nigel Cabourn’s classic T-shirts—to achieve a 6oz weight. This fabric is slightly thicker than the 5.6oz fabric used in Nigel Cabourn’s T-shirts.
■Taped Seam Construction■
This design features tape applied from both shoulders to the neckline. It minimizes stiffness at the seams while preventing the neckline from losing its shape or becoming distorted, and offers excellent wash durability.
■Binder Neck Construction■
This design features a “binder finish,” where the body fabric is sandwiched between neck ribs and sewn. It is not only highly durable and resistant to stretching at the neckline but also acts as a sweat barrier, ensuring a comfortable fit.
■Unlike the standard “freedom sleeve” design found on classic T-shirts, this style features set-in sleeves.
