We developed and released a fabric made from high-quality, specialty cotton—a material not typically used in conventional designs—by deliberately using thick, heavily twisted yarns with pronounced irregularities. Furthermore, to achieve the desired thickness, firmness, and body, we repeatedly fine-tuned the knitting machine settings during the knitting process. The quality is so exceptional that it could even be called “over-spec.”
Key features include a design inspired by 1930s sweaters with shoulder seams, and V-shaped ribbing at the cuffs.

■Compared to a MEDIUM WEIGHT sweatshirt, this garment is 1.5 times heavier. It uses a special heavyweight fleece that features a dry, firm, and rugged texture on the surface, while the reverse side boasts a deep, plush nap with long fibers. You’ll experience a level of impact unlike anything before.
Vintage sweatshirts are, of course, made with a seamless tube construction, but this inevitably leads to the drawback of shrinking vertically while stretching horizontally. To address this, this product features side seams instead of a seamless tube construction.
■The print features a cream-colored vintage flock print.
Vintage flock printing is an electroplating-based printing technique developed in the 1930s. Because the process is time-consuming and carries a risk of fire, it is a technique that only a handful of companies in Japan are capable of performing.
While standard flock prints tend to crack over time, this electroplated flock print is characterized by its uneven texture and the way it peels off gradually with age. The more you wear and wash it, the more you’ll enjoy its vintage-like patina.
■Enjoy this style, considered one of the oldest designs among sweatshirts, featuring set-in sleeves, double V-gussets, two-needle stitching, and longer ribbed cuffs.
■Since the silhouette is shown as it appears when the garment is unworn (unwashed), the body length appears longer and the body width and shoulder width appear wider than they actually are. After washing, the garment will fit more snugly than shown in the photos, so please select your usual size.
