【MAIN LINE】 MADE IN JAPAN
This women’s shirt is based on the British Officers Shirt—one of Nigel Cabourn’s signature items—and has been reimagined with a relaxed silhouette. This product features the brand’s original woven hemp fabric, crafted to ensure comfort even in the height of summer.
■The fabric is woven from extremely fine No. 60 single-ply hemp yarn at a high density. This exceptionally unique fabric was made possible by a series of specialized processes: the combing process, which removes impurities from short fibers; wet-spun yarn; and a salt-shrinking treatment that induces shrinkage to increase density.
At first glance, it may appear no different from ordinary linen, but compared to linen, it has more body and a smooth, silky texture. It is characterized by a cool, refreshing feel that makes it comfortable to wear even in the height of summer.
■ Compared to Nigel Cabourn’s classic British Officers Shirt, this version features a standard regular collar, an added chest pocket, pleats beneath the back yoke, and the removal of the darts on both sides of the back for a more casual look.
Additionally, the body width and armholes have been adjusted for a roomier, more relaxed fit.
