【MAIN LINE】 MADE IN JAPAN
Based on the British Officers Shirt—one of Nigel Cabourn’s signature items—this shirt has been reimagined with a relaxed silhouette. It has also been updated with a lighter fabric for spring and summer.
■The fabric was originally designed and woven to evoke the density of the Oxford weave used in 1920s French workwear.
By using a finer weft yarn, we’ve achieved a fabric that’s about half the thickness of the vintage Oxford fabric used in Nigel Cabourn’s signature British Officer’s Shirt. This shirt offers a lightweight feel while maintaining the fabric’s durability.
■Compared to Nigel Cabourn’s classic “British Officers Shirt,” this version features a standard button-down collar with visible buttons, an added chest pocket, a pleat under the back yoke, and the removal of the darts on both sides of the back for a more casual look.
Additionally, the body width and armholes have been adjusted for a roomier, relaxed fit.
■The color palette has also been updated, featuring refreshing colors that are perfect for the spring and summer seasons.
■ This item features a washed finish.
