"EASTMAN LEATHER CLOTHING" is a British brand that meticulously reproduces vintage flight jackets from the 1939–1945 era, with a focus on American military clothing.
With a history spanning over 30 years, this reproduction manufacturer—which can truly be called “authentic”—sources the exact same materials used back then. They commission every single component from the original parts manufacturers, down to the finest details, to recreate the jackets with specifications identical to those of the era, thereby bringing them back to life in the modern world.
Their greatest strength lies in in-house production at their own factory, where they uphold quality, advance their craftsmanship, and ensure consistent manufacturing.
Their aesthetic is rooted in military style, while their other label, “ELMC,” was launched as a collection inspired by the mid-20th-century motorcycle scene, offering everything from biker styles to sportswear.
■The A-2 flight jacket, officially adopted on May 29, 1931, and used until the end of World War II.
This product is a model created by EASTMAN LEATHER CLOTHING as an original design, featuring a refined version of the classic A-2 design and details—a style for which there are many variations in vintage pieces.
While the silhouette isn’t an exact replica of the original vintage jacket, we’ve paid close attention to the pattern to ensure superior comfort while retaining a strong vintage feel.

■The leather is full-vegetable-tanned horsehide, recreated and perfected in collaboration with a tannery to replicate the natural wrinkles and textured surface commonly found on WWII-era A-2 jackets.
While A-2 jackets from that era came in a variety of shades—ranging from dark brown to light brown and even reddish tones—this product faithfully reproduces the officially adopted “SEAL BROWN” color.
■ It features no stand-up collar and uses a reissue model of the CROWN zipper, a registered trademark of “EASTMAN LEATHER CLOTHING.”
Every detail, down to the smallest parts, reflects “EASTMAN LEATHER CLOTHING’s” meticulous craftsmanship, resulting in a finish so authentic it could be mistaken for a vintage piece.
