1950s STYLE WORK CLOTHING
This is a motor culture series set in “MOTOR PSYCLONE GARAGE,” a fictional motorcycle shop that operated in Oakland, California, from the 1950s to the 1960s.
This product is a work jacket designed to evoke the style worn by the crew at MOTOR PSYCLONE GARAGE.
The outer fabric is an 11-ounce cotton canvas made from yarn-dyed threads—both warp and weft—dyed black. Characterized by its moderate thickness and dry texture, this fabric will gradually fade and develop a worn look over time, making the aging process something to look forward to.
The lining and sleeve linings are made of dark navy cotton flannel. The fabric features a double-sided brushed finish, making the jacket smooth and highly insulating. Additionally, the two hip pockets feature a dual-layer design consisting of a flap pocket and a hand-warmer pocket; the interior of the hand-warmer pocket is also lined with cotton flannel.
The collar is made of 8-well medium-ribbed corduroy.
Key features include a diagonal chain-detailed zipper pocket on the chest, a pen pocket inside the left hip flap pocket, adjustable tabs on both sides of the hem, a short body length, and a relaxed silhouette that isn’t too tight.
The print is a crack rubber print that naturally peels away with repeated washings, adding to the jacket’s character over time.
