This tweed coat combines the design of the Nigel Cabourn Women’s classic “Mac Coat” with that of a 1940s British Army raincoat. The term “Mac Coat” in this product’s name refers to a type of raincoat produced by the British company Mackintosh, or is a general term for raincoats derived from that design.


■The fabric features Harris Tweed and Moon Tweed from the long-established Harris Tweed company, renowned for its British tweed.
While mac coats are typically tailored from cotton gabardine, this product deliberately makes lavish use of British-made tweed with a dry texture and voluminous drape, crafted with Nigel Cabourn’s signature “crazy” patterns.
The lining is made of heavyweight cotton fabric, creating a coat that retains the classic British look while offering excellent protection against the cold.
■ By omitting cuffs and a waist belt, we’ve achieved a look that feels substantial yet remains light and comfortable to wear.
■Original details, such as the chin strap attached to the collar and the overlapping front placket, have been faithfully reproduced.
■The buttons are generously sized horn buttons, luxuriously crafted from carved water buffalo horn.
■This product features a classic, roomy fit with ample width, making it perfect for layering over a jacket.
