■The fabric is a reproduction of the 5oz heathered chambray traditionally used in vintage work shirts. “Twisted heather” refers to fabric woven from yarns created by twisting together threads of different colors; it is characterized by a rich, mottled texture. This top-black shirt fabric has a subdued, classic feel that differs from blue chambray.
■Although it is a work shirt, it features slightly narrower rolled seams, fine-pitch stitching, and an extremely simple design with a single pocket on the left chest—creating a shirt that makes a strong statement within its understated aesthetic.
