About OX’ED SILVER… This label revives, for the modern era, suits—originally worn as workwear by specific laborers, artisans, and artists—as well as the shirts, T-shirts, and other garments worn with them, through research and analysis.
This season’s collection focuses on four professions—ranch workers, coal miners, firefighters, and master masons—and incorporates their characteristics into the designs.
As the name suggests, this product is based on the henley-neck shirts worn by coal miners.
■The material is a heavyweight cotton sweatshirt fabric. The inside is brushed, giving it a soft, plush texture and exceptional comfort. For a henley shirt, the fabric is quite thick, so you can wear it with the same feel as a sweatshirt.
■The cuffs feature an extremely intricate design with two different knits to ensure just the right amount of snugness.
■The buttons are made from animal bone, a meticulous detail chosen to match the product’s historical setting.
■Pre-washed product.
