This exquisite jerkin vest is crafted with a generous amount of the finest sheepskin. Please enjoy the unique texture and feel that only British-made products can offer.

■This vest is made from sheepskin.
Sheepskin refers to the hide of adult sheep that are at least one year old. While it is slightly more delicate than cowhide or horsehide, its light weight, soft texture, and excellent thermal insulation are characteristics unique to sheepskin.
■A “jerkin vest” originally refers to the leather vests produced and deployed by the British military throughout World War I and World War II; the design is said to be based on the tunics worn by English men in the Middle Ages.
Compared to the jerkin vests from Nigel Cabourn’s Japanese-made “MAIN LINE” collection, this vest features a slimmer, cleaner silhouette. While it can be worn as an outer vest over a lightweight jacket, it is generally best suited to be worn over shirts, T-shirts, or thick sweaters for the perfect fit. Please take a look for reference.
