Nigel Cabourn’s theme for this season is baseball and cricket. The war, which began with Germany’s invasion of Poland, quickly spread across the globe. Soldiers were inevitably deployed beyond Europe to Africa, Southeast Asia, and the islands of the Pacific, but photographs remain of soldiers enjoying baseball and cricket with makeshift equipment during their brief moments of downtime from military service.
Inspired by this historical fact, this product features a design based on a vintage 1950s sports jacket.

■The fabric used is cotton-nylon pin oxford.
Pin oxford—more precisely known as “pinpoint oxford”—is a type of Oxford fabric.
Because it uses finer-gauge yarn than standard Oxford fabric, it has a soft, supple feel against the skin. The addition of nylon also gives the fabric a subtle sheen and water-repellent properties.
■The distinctive reverse curve of the shoulder yoke—a signature design feature of 1950s vintage sports jackets—is recreated using a fine-fold seam construction. Furthermore, the jacket features a bold placement of the brand’s original patch.
■With a relaxed fit characteristic of Nigel Cabourn, this design ensures a comfortable wear.
