Inspired by the iconic outdoor sports boots of the 1920s, these boots blend vintage elegance with modern craftsmanship.
Designed for adventurers, the Fieldmaster boots embody timeless style while expressing the rugged spirit of the explorer.
Featuring a traditional 7-inch lace-up design that enhances fit and support, along with painted brass eyelets and stitching reinforcements in high-stress areas, these boots—meticulously designed with attention to every detail—embody the durability and tradition that John Lofgren Bootmaker is renowned for.
■The leather used is Single Horse Front (SHF), with the underside—rather than the grain side—used for the upper.
The tanning process is nearly identical to that of Horween Chromexcel leather, utilizing horsehide that is finished with a final coating of dye and wax.
■The soles are made by the world-renowned manufacturer VIBRAM and offer exceptional durability.
Furthermore, this product features cork-infused all-soles and heels, enhancing its vintage aesthetic.
It uses American-made cork-infused 700 soles and 7335 heels.
■Crafted using the Goodyear welt construction—one of the traditional methods for leather shoes—it boasts exceptional durability thanks to its complex stitching.
This construction method, commonly found in vintage boots and high-end shoes, is characterized by a level of durability that far surpasses other methods.
Thanks to its intricate stitching and structure, the shoe’s well-balanced weight creates a pendulum-like motion while walking, providing excellent support.
One of its key attractions is that it can be repaired—such as by replacing the sole or heel—allowing you to wear it virtually indefinitely.
