About OX’ED SILVER… This label revives, through research and analysis, the workwear suits—as well as the shirts, T-shirts, and other garments worn with them—that were once worn by specific workers, artisans, and artists.
OX’ED SILVER has launched a new series inspired by the vintage clothing worn by agricultural immigrants who moved from Japan to Hawaii in the early 20th century.
■The fabric is a crisp linen. It is an exceptionally luxurious material created by densely weaving fine No. 60 linen yarn, then scrunching the fabric and shrinking it by approximately 10% using a special solvent to maximize its density. Furthermore, a wash treatment applied during the final process gives the fabric a worn-in, pre-washed look even before it has been washed.
Although slightly thinner than the high-density linen previously offered by Nigel Cabourn, this fabric retains a firm texture, making it ideal for hot weather.

This product is unwashed. The fabric has been pre-shrunk using a special solvent, so it will not shrink to the point of significantly altering the size after washing; however, we recommend hand washing or a short machine wash cycle.
