This is part of the Motor Culture series, inspired by promotional T-shirts from motorcycle garage shops in Oakland, California, from the 1950s to the 1960s.
“MOTOR PSYCLONE” is a new Motor Culture lineup being launched by Freewheelers.
In the 1960s, many motorcycle companies created garments—such as T-shirts, long-sleeve T-shirts, and sweatshirts—with their corporate logos or characters overprinted across the entire front for promotional purposes, sparking a major movement alongside motorsports.
Inspired by this historical trend, this product features a design with a full-front print.
■The fabric is a 100% cotton material with a vintage feel, characterized by its irregular texture and neps, woven to a medium weight for just the right thickness.
For those who prefer not to wear lightweight, see-through fabrics, we recommend a medium-weight fabric like this one.
■The printing method varies by color.
“SHADY BLACK” is printed using a special technique called “discharge printing,” where the fabric is bleached in specific areas before the print is applied, while “STRAW CREAM × SHADY BLACK” is printed using a dye-penetration method.
