“EASTMAN LEATHER CLOTHING” is a British brand that meticulously reproduces vintage flight jackets from the 1939–1945 era, with a focus on American military clothing.
With a history spanning over 30 years, the brand sources the exact same materials used back then. By commissioning every single component—down to the finest detail—from the original parts manufacturers, they recreate each piece to the exact specifications of the era, bringing these authentic reproductions back to life in the modern world.

While its core aesthetic centers on military style, its other label, “ELMC,” was launched as a collection inspired by the mid-20th-century motorcycle scene, offering everything from biker styles to sportswear.

Featuring a slightly roomy straight silhouette, these classic pants exude a rugged charm reminiscent of the good old days.
This model is based on military pants custom-made in Okinawa for members of U.S. special forces stationed there after World War II.
Originally, the pants worn by special forces featured various details—such as pockets for hand grenades, pleats, and drawstrings at the hem—but given the post-war context, these elements were omitted to create a simpler design.

■The fabric is Japanese-made cotton herringbone twill. It’s a sturdy, crisp fabric that has been pre-washed to give it an authentic vintage look. As it ages, it will develop a wonderful, vintage-like texture, so please enjoy nurturing it into your very own new vintage piece.
■As part of the “MADE IN JAPAN Series,” created in collaboration with John Lofgren—a boot designer well-versed in vintage styles—its high quality goes without saying. We highly recommend this item to vintage enthusiasts.
