The “PAPA NUI” brand is created by John, who lives in Australia. The collection reimagines military style through the designer’s unique personality and narrative.
This brand is committed to ensuring that everything—from the fabrics and stitching to even the smallest components—is crafted by fairly employed artisans in Japan.
As a tribute to the military, the Japanese flag—the “Hinomaru”—is reimagined as “PAPA MARU” and is sewn onto most products in the collection as a trademark.
The updated “Atoll Defender,” previously released, is being reissued. This is a reissue of a model known among military personnel as “the toughest mesh cap.”
The original naval cap was the brand’s second cap released in the early 2000s. This version features a sturdy HBT (herringbone twill) front panel, along with exceptionally durable poly mesh and a rear adjuster.
This cap exudes a strikingly eye-catching presence, and thanks to its rugged, tough charm, it has become a classic widely recognized even among the “Beach Battalion” engaged in coastal operations.
We’ve designed an embroidered patch on the front crown to complement the rugged olive drab color.
