This popular Freewheelers underwear is made from heavy-ribbed fabric.
It has been redesigned from the previous three-quarter-sleeve style to a long-sleeve style.
The range of larger sizes has also been expanded, allowing a wider variety of body types to choose from.
The hem has also been updated to a vintage-inspired design, changing from a sharp curve to a gentle curve, allowing for a more modern and sleek fit.
The product name refers to the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion, and this custom model was designed with the image of the uniforms they wore in mind.
■Featuring a substantial, sturdy body with stretch, this 100% cotton garment offers a comfortable fit that flatters the body.
The fabric has a versatile feel, striking a balance between a T-shirt and a sweatshirt.
It works well as an undershirt and is also recommended for layering under a vest. Of course, worn on its own, this thick-knit T-shirt exudes the rugged charm of workers from that era.
■The hem features a gently curved, rounded design with a rugged, overlock-stitched finish.
■The front features the nickname of the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion, while the back features an airbrushed illustration of a bee, resulting in a highly intricate design.
This bee was respectfully referred to as the “Worker Bee of the Sea” in recognition of its hardworking nature, as the unit was primarily tasked with defense-related duties such as base and road construction.
