The “PAPA NUI” brand, created by John, who lives in Australia. This collection reimagines military style through the designer’s unique personality and narrative.
The brand is committed to ensuring that everything—from the fabrics and stitching to even the smallest details—is crafted by fairly employed artisans in Japan.
As a tribute to the military, the Japanese flag, the “Hinomaru,” is reimagined as “PAPA MARU” and is sewn onto most products in the collection as a trademark.
This is the first casquette from the Papa Nui brand, crafted from a crisp, sturdy herringbone fabric. It is meticulously manufactured in Japan and can be worn year-round.
The term “Partisan” in this product’s name generally refers to irregular armed forces—or their members—operating in occupied countries or regions, particularly those involved in resistance movements against foreign rule or occupation.
This product is designed to evoke the image of the Partisans wearing it during reconnaissance missions in World War II.
It features an oversized crown, and the silhouette can be adjusted using the buttons on the brim. It can be enjoyed with a variety of outfits, from military styles to casual workwear and traditional styles featuring tailored jackets.
