In the late 1960s, Rocky Mountain Featherbed was founded in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Drawing inspiration from the leather capes created through Native American wisdom, the brand developed cowboy apparel featuring a seamless, single-piece leather Western yoke as its iconic design—and, to be frank, that design is the brand’s signature down jacket.

Leveraging his experience and survival skills, the founder was among the first to adopt GORE-TEX®, which was the most advanced high-tech material available in 1974.
He completed a mountain parka featuring a single-piece leather yoke.

It seemed the brand was poised for even greater success, but unfortunately, it ceased operations in the late 1980s.

Around the same time, a Japanese man began collecting Rocky Mountain Featherbed items.
After 20 years of research and prototyping, he completed reproductions that surpassed even the originals in the fall of 2005.

Featuring a one-piece leather yoke and a shearling collar, these pieces carry on a legacy of authentic value.
Furthermore, by adding a “modern” touch, we continue to create luxurious products unlike any others, captivating people around the world across generations.

The material is a lightweight, 100% cotton canvas fabric. The original Western-style print is eye-catching.
The handles are long enough to carry the bag over your shoulder. Why not try it for everyday use?
Unwashed item.
