This is an 8-panel casquette made from horse nubuck.
■The material used is horse nubuck.
Horse nubuck is a type of leather created by brushing the surface (grain side) of horsehide to produce short, delicate nap and a matte, supple texture.Unlike suede, which is brushed on the reverse side, nubuck is brushed on the surface, giving it greater thickness and durability.
While tanning with petroleum-derived chrome solvents has become common in recent years, this product is 100% naturally derived tannin-tanned. Because it uses only tannin, it is also known as “full-tannin.”
You can enjoy its smooth texture and the deepening character that comes with aging.
■The silhouette features a moderately subdued crown volume, making it easy to wear.
