About OX’ED SILVER… This label, launched as part of the Fall/Winter 2023 collection, researches and analyzes the workwear suits—as well as the shirts, T-shirts, and other garments worn with them—that were once worn by specific workers, artisans, and artists in the primary and secondary industries, bringing them back to life for the modern era.
This season’s collection focuses on five professions—blacksmith, master mason, firefighter, architect, and engineer—and incorporates these themes into the designs.
As the product name suggests, this item is designed based on the cap worn by blacksmiths.

■The material is a brand-original woven tweed fabric.
We have revived the Donegal tweed traditionally worn by blacksmiths for the modern era.The original fabric we aimed to recreate is, quite literally, homespun tweed produced in the Donegal region of Ireland—a thick woolen fabric made by hand-dyeing and spinning raw wool at home, then hand-weaving it using uneven yarns. It is characterized by the distinctive, charming neps throughout the fabric, which result from weaving in yarns that vary in thickness and twist.Additionally, the fabric contains small red neps; these are known as “falling neps” and will gradually fall out with repeated wear, allowing you to enjoy the fabric’s aging process.
■Featuring a generously sized crown, the silhouette can be adjusted using the button on the brim. It pairs well with a variety of outfits, from casual workwear to traditional styles featuring tailored jackets.
■The brim measures approximately 6 cm at its longest point in the center.
