Roy Chapman Andrews: The “Chapman Boots” are inspired by the legendary adventurer, naturalist, and the man who served as the model for Indiana Jones.
They were designed for people who travel from city streets to the unknown worlds at the edge of the map.
These boots are not merely a costume; they are authentic footwear built to withstand exploration—a tribute to a life of discovery, ethical craftsmanship, and the enduring philosophy that “adventure is everywhere.”

■The material used is the highest-grade Chromexcel leather (aniline-finished oil-tanned leather, thickness: 2.0–2.3 mm) from HORWEEN, a long-established American leather manufacturer.
Chromexcel leather contains a high oil content, making it resistant to cracking even with extended wear; it is characterized by being both thick and supple.
■The soles are made by the world-renowned manufacturer VIBRAM and offer exceptional grip, durability, and abrasion resistance.
■Crafted using the Goodyear welt construction—one of the traditional methods for making leather shoes—these boots boast exceptional durability thanks to their complex stitching.
This construction method, commonly found in vintage boots and high-end footwear, is characterized by a level of sturdiness that far surpasses other methods.
Thanks to its intricate stitching and construction, the shoe’s perfectly balanced weight creates a pendulum-like motion while walking, providing excellent support.
One of its key attractions is that it can be repaired—including sole replacement, full resole, and heel replacement—allowing you to enjoy it for a lifetime.
