OX’ED SILVER has launched a new series inspired by the vintage clothing worn by agricultural immigrants who moved from Japan to Hawaii in the early 20th century.
■The collection uses the brand’s original fabric, a blend of cotton and washi paper. It meticulously recreates the unique texture of the traditional Japanese kasuri dyeing technique—in which yarn is partially dyed before weaving to create patterns—using modern resist printing technology.
■This shirt is inspired by the shirts worn by farmers who rolled up their long sleeves to about mid-forearm length to endure the heat while working.
It draws inspiration from the sleeve construction of early 1900s British vintage workwear, featuring slits at the cuffs for a design that makes it easy to roll up the sleeves.
■This stand-collar shirt features a longer back hem. Its relaxed fit ensures comfort even during hot summer days.
■This item has a washed finish.
