【NIGEL CABOURN × LIAM GALLAGHER】 MADE IN U.K.
This is a collaboration model between Nigel Cabourn and Liam Gallagher, frontman of the British rock band Oasis.
The design is inspired by a 1940s U.S. Army anorak from Nigel’s vintage collection. Its rugged beauty caught the eye of both Liam and Nigel, leading to the creation of this item.
■The fabric used is L-24 Ventile. Ventile is a fabric developed by the Royal Air Force during World War II, woven from cotton at an ultra-high density. Although the fabric isn’t particularly thick, it boasts surprisingly high water resistance and airtightness.
■Since it is a single-layer construction with no lining, another appealing feature is that it can be worn for a long season.
■This is a pullover-style smock. A zipper is placed on the right hem to make it easy to put on and take off.
■Wooden parts are used for the drawcords on the hood, the sides of the waist, and the hem. While metal parts are commonly used for such components, metal—which has high thermal conductivity—can stick to bare skin in extremely cold temperatures, posing a risk of injury.
Nigel Cabourn’s attention to detail is reflected not only in the design but also in the selection of these components.
■This product features an overall loose, oversized fit. For those who prefer a loose, oversized fit, we recommend your usual size. For those who want a fit that’s not too loose but still offers a comfortable amount of room, we recommend selecting one size smaller than your usual size.
A model who is 175 cm tall and weighs 72 kg—and who typically wears size 48/L in Nigel Cabourn tops—is wearing size 46/M in GREEN, and size 48/L in DARK ORANGE and YELLOW. Please use this as a reference.
