This model features a design inspired by vintage deck coats and is crafted from cotton ripstop fabric.
This piece is a quintessential Nigel Cabourn creation, featuring a unique twist with a reversible design.
■The outer fabric is made of pigment-dyed cotton ripstop. Although lightweight, the quilting stitching gives it a moderately firm texture, making it highly windproof and insulating. Although it features quilting stitching, it does not contain any batting.
■The lining is made of lightweight cotton twill, offering excellent lightness, durability, and wind resistance.
■Since deck coats are designed for use on board ships, there is no need to store or carry a large amount of equipment. Consequently, a major feature of this coat is its extremely simple design, which includes almost no pockets, flaps, fasteners such as buttons or zippers, or various adjusters and loops.
■It is reversible and features a reversible zipper and changeable buttons.
