The brand is committed to having every aspect—from the fabric and stitching to even the smallest details—crafted by fairly employed artisans in Japan.
The Japanese flag, the “Hinomaru,” serves as a tribute to the military and is featured as “PAPA MARU,” sewn onto most products in the collection as a trademark.
This is a special A-3 mechanic’s cap, an exclusive model for SPEEDWAY.It is one of the most popular styles within the Papa Nui brand.
This cap was designed to honor the achievements of the U.S. Army Air Forces 10th Air Group, which conducted testing and evaluation of the famous Japanese Yokosuka MXY-7 “Sakuraka” aircraft at Atsugi Air Base in 1945.
Meticulously crafted in Japan, this cap is made from durable herringbone twill fabric and is a mechanic’s cap that offers perfect styling.
It is accented with a hand-embroidered “Sakuraka” patch based on the design originally painted on the fuselage of the aircraft. A “Sakuraka” pin badge is also included. Feel free to attach it to the cap, or to a jacket, bag, or other items.
