From Nigel Cabourn’s 2026 High Summer Collection comes a series inspired by vintage sportswear and workout wear, titled “NCAW (Nigel Cabourn Athletic Wear).”
These shorts are based on a vintage sweatshirt design.
This model features a pigment-dyed finish, offering a unique, uneven color effect and a rich, distinctive color palette.
■The fabric is the brand’s original sweatshirt material.
By knitting slowly on an Azuma knitting machine, we’ve achieved a vintage-like appearance with horizontal stripes visible on the fabric’s surface. Furthermore, the use of French terry fabric made with slub yarn creates a rich texture through the yarn’s uneven appearance.
Additionally, the fabric is designed with a mesh-like structure, reducing contact with the skin to ensure excellent breathability.Combined with the lightweight feel unique to a reverse-pile design, this garment is comfortable enough to wear even in the summer, despite being made of a terry fabric.
■The waist is adjustable with an elastic band and drawstring, allowing it to stretch beyond the listed measurements for a snug fit.
■A short-sleeve sweatshirt made from the same fabric is also available.
■This product is not available in a 30-inch width. Please check in advance.

This product is pigment-dyed.
Unlike standard dyes, pigments tend to fade more easily.
Color may transfer to white or light-colored items through friction. To be safe, we recommend wearing this product with items that are darker in color than this one. The same applies when washing at home; color may transfer to light-colored items.
While indigo (traditional indigo dye) stops bleeding after a certain number of washes, pigment fading and color transfer do not stop. Therefore, to be on the safe side, please “wash this product separately.”
Since we use pigment dyeing on high-density fabric that is extremely difficult to dye, we employ agitation during the dyeing process—a step not typically used in standard dyeing. Some fabrics may exhibit uneven coloring, scuff marks, or streak-like patterns; however, these are not defects. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
