This is part of the Motor Culture series, inspired by promotional T-shirts from motorcycle garage shops in Oakland, California, from the 1950s and 1960s.
“MOTOR PSYCLONE” is a new Motor Culture lineup that Freewheelers is launching as a series.
In the 1960s, many motor companies printed their corporate logos and characters all over T-shirts, long-sleeve T-shirts, sweatshirts, and other garments for promotional purposes, creating a major movement alongside motorsports.
Inspired by this historical fact, this product features a design with a full-front print on the T-shirt.
■The fabric is a 100% cotton material with a vintage aesthetic, characterized by its medium weight, moderate thickness, and distinctive uneven texture and neps.
For those who prefer not to wear lightweight, see-through fabrics, we recommend a medium-weight fabric like this one.
■The printing method varies by color.
SHADY BLACK is printed using a special technique called “discharge printing,” in which the fabric color is removed before the print is applied, while STRAW CREAM × SHADY BLACK is printed using a “dye-through” method.
