About OX’ED SILVER... This label revives, through research and analysis, the workwear suits—as well as the shirts, T-shirts, and other garments worn with them—that were once worn by specific workers, artisans, and artists.
This season’s collection focuses on five professions—blacksmith, master mason, firefighter, architect, and engineer—and incorporates elements from these trades into the designs.
■ This is the first tie release from Nigel Cabourn in quite some time, and it is an indispensable item for classic style. It is a wide tie with a blade width of approximately 9.8 cm.
■ All fabrics used are woven exclusively for the brand.
The DARK BROWN fabric was brought back to life by analyzing tweeds from the 1890s to the 1900s.Rather than simply reproducing the fabric of that era, it faithfully recreates even the aging effects that have occurred over the past 100 years.
The GRAY-1 fabric features a striped pattern inspired by 1930s textiles, woven with a random stripe design.
The GRAY-2 fabric features a pattern known as “salt and pepper,” woven from yarns twisted together from different-colored threads; it is characterized by a rich, mottled texture.
