【MAIN LINE】 MADE IN JAPAN
These work pants are designed based on vintage work pants worn by French railroad workers in the 1920s and repaired moleskin pants, featuring double-knee panels made from a combination of different fabrics.
■For the BROWN and BLACK versions, the main body is made of reaction-dyed, bleached-white cotton canvas, while the double-knee panels are made of sulfur-dyed cotton duck fabric.
The IVORY version uses the brand’s original heavy moleskin fabric for the main body, with cotton canvas for the double-knee panels.
■“Double Knee” refers to the practice, commonly seen in work pants, of attaching a separate piece of fabric from the thigh area down to just below the knee for reinforcement or repair. This product draws inspiration from the large repair designs found on vintage moleskin pants and incorporates them into the design. The double knee panels, extending from the waist to just above the ankle, will develop distinct signs of aging over time as you wear them, allowing you to enjoy the unique wear patterns and color fading of each different fabric.
■Featuring a button fly at the front, this exceptional piece boasts vintage-inspired details worth noting—such as a large hip pocket on the right side only, a cinch back, and donut buttons engraved with the Nigel Cabourn logo and a broad arrow.
■With its wide silhouette and slightly oversized fit, we recommend styling this piece with suspenders.
■Pre-washed item.
