"THE RITE STUFF" is a brand founded by Bryan Shettig, an American designer based in Taiwan, that specializes in designs inspired by vintage workwear.
The brand is committed to the texture, materials, and stitching of vintage workwear. Crafted by skilled artisans, its products closely replicate the work styles of the past while offering functionality that remains relevant today.
Furthermore, the brand is committed to ensuring that everything—from the fabric and stitching to even the smallest details — is made in Japan by fairly employed artisans .
■Based on 1930s work pants, this design uses a 10-ounce herringbone fabric made from yarn-dyed indigo denim woven in Japan.
Just like regular denim, you can enjoy the aging process—including fading and wear patterns—that develops with repeated wear and washing, making them perfect for year-round wear.
■Featured by a bold, wide silhouette with a generous thigh width.
■The front features a button fly, with urea buttons made in Japan.
■The inner waistband is made from 5oz indigo wabash stripe fabric made in Japan, while the seat is made from 6oz salt-and-pepper fabric made in Japan.
■Created in collaboration with John Lofgren, a designer and boot maker with deep expertise in vintage styles, the high quality goes without saying. We highly recommend these to vintage enthusiasts.
